Halloween night proved to be really interesting in the candy department.
The boys each had some Chick-O-Stick candies in their bags.
DH was quite excited when he found them; I myself was really puzzled because I was thinking chicken candy?!
Why would anyone want to eat a chicken flavored candy?
Dh asked us if we had ever had them and the three of us replied with a resounding no.
He quickly unwrapped one and gave it to me.
I was the lucky winner and only winner to give it a try.
I noticed it was orange, light in weight, a very tiny bit of coconut on the outside and it looked pretty good.
The first thing I noticed was a nice true peanut butter flavor and it reminded me of the inside of another candy on the market - Butterfingers.
You really do not notice the coconut and before you know it this little treat is gone and you want to eat another one.
This candy has been around since the Great Depression made by the Atkinson Candy Co. in
I am glad that I have tried this candy and would not hesitate to have one *cough*or more *cough* again.
These yummy candies come in three different sizes for your satisfaction.
Oh!! I did find out that there are sugar free versions of this candy and I know I would love to try them out. I’ll keep you posted if I find them around town or end up buying them.
