Yep, those were the words I mumbled out this morning.
I grabbed dh’s keys to his car and was going to zip to the store to pick up some milk, the newspaper and a few other items we needed.
We left his car outside last night – no big deal.
It did dip down into the mid 30’s and we had a nice frosty start to the morning.
On a side note - I love those crisp autumn mornings.
So, I put the key into the ignition and gave it a turn.
Huh..
nothing, nada, zip all I hear is just a tiny hum.
Try again and this time I get a clicking sound.
Then I spoke those words, “You can’t be serious.”
Last week we had to deal with a head gasket and a new wheel bearing, now a battery.
I so did not want deal with that this morning.
Off I went back inside the house and said, “Babe, we have a problem.”
Dh looked up at me in shock and inquired what was wrong.
I simply tossed him the keys and told him to give it a whirl.
On his way out the door I handed him a jacket, he was going to need that.
He arrived back in to announce that the battery was dead.
Argh!!!!
