A walk & birds....

This morning I decided to talk a nice walk after I was done at the Dr's office.
My bottled water was sitting at home, I would need something to drink, so I stopped off and bought myself some sweet tea.
Yeah, I deserved it.
*grin*
I used to take the boys to the park when they were smaller, there is an wonderful play area where they would play for hours.
Today however it was just myself, the birds, ducks and sheer silence.


A great time (only a year later) to try out some of the other bells and whistles on my camera.

I still have so much to learn but I figure I might as well give it a try.


I love how the feathers stuck to her beak after fluffing her feathers.


Bad hair day?!


This duck was curled up on the ledge of a gazebo and did not budge the whole time I was there.



Love these little birds they were all over the park today.
They were just too cute.


Mallards have to be one of my favorite ducks and this one posed so nicely for me.


As I left the park and headed back to the mom mobile I noticed this bunch of daffodils. As you can see there are a few that are just about to bloom.
Spring really is right around the corner.
