Yup, you read that right.Today is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Day!
Ah, the sandwich many of us grew up upon has it's very own special day.
I'd say deservingly so.
There is something about that creamy goodness of peanut butter mixed with the sweetness of the jelly on white bread that makes it soooo good.
I tend to prefer plain 'ol grape jelly for my sandwiches but every now and then I shake things up with strawberry jam.
Somewhere I went wrong with my kiddos; you see they do not like PB&J's.
Can you believe it?!
I am still puzzled by it and try to encourage them to give them a fair chance but no luck so far.
Eh, more for the rest of us who do enjoy them!
