mmm... sugar wafers
How anyone could not like a wafer cookie is well, beyond me.
These lemon wafer cookies created by Manner in Austria caught my eye and I simply could not refuse.
It was a hot day and lemons no matter in what form are always refreshing.
Right?!
I was a bit surprised that these wafer cookies are a bit smaller size but they make up for it in taste.
They had just the right amount of lemon flavoring so that your taste buds were not overpowered and not overly sweet with sugar.
The wafers had a nice snap to them and the whole combination made for a quite enjoyable treat.
A nice refreshing treat that is sure to please.
