Bread.
Mmm...carbs....
Mmm...carbs....
I am slowly getting back into making my own bread again.
I just love the way it feels between your fingers as you mix and knead the dough.
Growing up I would watch memorized as my Great Aunt Julia make all types of loaves of bread.
(She was like a grandmother to me since my mom's mother passed away a few months before I was born.)
This is one recipe I can recall my mom making when I was a child and eating a slice (or two) with a hot cup of tea for breakfast for years.
It does not take long to make and the results are always tasty.
Spencer was "brave" enough to give it a try and has fallen hook, line and sinker for this bread.
Try it and you will like it!
