Cinnamon Peach Cobbler

This recipes is absolutely delish!
I am always willing to try different cobbler recipes since they are DH's favorite.
Houston - we have a winner.
Not that those before were not good they were not what he remembered as a kid but this one is dead on.
I have to admit that it is ... well, drool worthy!
Super easy to make and will make anyone smile.

* Changed it up for the 4th and used a pie crust for the bottom, and added in some nectarines.
Oh boy...
Seriously - you have to give this recipe a try.
Don't forget the vanilla ice cream for the top.

                          Cinnamon Peach Cobbler

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

  Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method
--------  ------------  --------------------------------
  4        cups  sliced peaches -- peeled
1/2       cup  sugar
2/3       cup  Bisquick® baking mix  and 1 tablespoon -- *see Note 
1/2       tablespoon  ground cinnamon
  3        tablespoons  brown sugar -- *see Note
1/4       cup  butter -- cold and cubed
  3        tablespoons  milk

  1. In a large bowl, combine the peaches, sugar and 1 tablespoon of biscuit mix and cinnamon.
  2. Transfer to a greased shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine brown sugar and remaining biscuit mix.
  4. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in mix just until blended.
  5. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto peach mixture. 
  6. Bake at 400 for 20-30 minutes or until top is golden brown and filling is bubbly.

NOTES: 

  • Note #1 - Can use any type of biscuit mix (Bisquick, Jiffy, Pioneer)
  • Note #2 - can use 2-3 tbsp of brown sugar
